The Result
This Game On project has been an enjoyable yet frustrating one because of the mistakes we made on the way but we learned loads about working in a group playing to each other strengths and comprising with each other along the way.
The most important thing i learned was that sometime having a group bigger then say 3 people is if your not the most well organized people in the world a bad thing because it causes confusion and frustration in the group. That would be the one thing that i would change if i could but after a bit of time we came together and pulled it off in the end and produced some finished work.

Final menu design DONE
iv finally got the C.S.M.S done for one of are character in the game all thats needed to do now is put it into the game which im going to try tomorrow or thursday but it has to be this week and cats in charge of room in which the character will apperear in but he's the menu. ignore the writing in the middle there just other ability for rays character lucretia.

Menu contined

iv nearly finished the menu and iv added a level progression system and weapons to the design from thought iv put into this i think that the colour system will go well with the selection room that cat has designed im going to match the menus stats and weapon load out with Rays character and turn around .

Menu Deveploment
As you have seen i started with shapes and styles (if its not on the blog it will be on soon) then i moved to colours i started with blues then some purples but as i looked at different examples of holograpthic tech from sci-fi films and TV and games and i felt that the colour blue was over used so i choose the green. then i went with one of the textures that i took with my camera and used it as a background image and changed the colurs to match my designs.

The Easter Break
Sorry it s been a a long time and iv not been online a lot ether but after we came back from easter i decided th design a personised weapon for each character the hole group thought this was a great idea and iv started some prototypes i ll put them up soon .

Side Arm 02

Here are my first sketchs and ideas that i came up with the one drawen up in pen shows which idea i liked the most.
The large drum to the bottom left of the image is the magerzine which holds up to 12 mini plasma rocket in the middle is my design for the targeting system and bottom right is the barrel
it fires one round at a time but if trigger is held it can fire three rounds at once it also has homing target system withe the charged shot as well.

Textures 2.
Textures
iv started my search for textures like places to find them off the webb how to get my own. I started with looking in magerzine i fond that Imagine FX magerzine sometimes gives out free textures,photoshop brushes, and video tourials on how to do some of the effects that it shows in the magerzine.

We talked and we came to chooseing me and Ray to lead im a bit scared but good scared about leading because i some times take it on myself to make sure that everyone passes and if some should fail i will feel like i let them down as well as the group.

Lately the group is falling behind and its because we keep getting distracked im not sure as of why but it needs sorting. it was suggested by Sonia that we choose a group leader to keep us on track and make sure the group dead lines are meet. we still have not choose a leader and its getting on im scared that we are falling behind .

The Tauyons

The Machine Rifles


Both are powered with Plasma Cells nad are used for medium to long range fights.
The TOP image is a burst fire rifle it fires a 5 round in a burst and it is equiped with a battle scope.
The BOTTOM image is my reimageing of the Tommy gun uses a short range reflex scope and equiped with a large plasma cell drum magerzine to be able to put down a large amount fire on the battle field but the weapon surffers with accarery and over heating if fired raperaly poplar with heavy armoured foes so they can lay down alot of fire as they get closer to you.
The Side Arm (mark 1)

All my weapons are powered with plasma cell technology. The humans discovered this tech when they traded with the Aliens that came to earth they learned that the Plasma starts off in a crytal form in veins in the planets crust in another star system. They could melt it down and when after the plasma has been melted down it be comes extremely violitital when mixed with oxygen which is affective as a projectial be has a major weakness that it needs oxygen to work.

The Brief.
For the Game On project we are required to take everything we have learned to the next levelby inproving are own work and are communicateion with the industry and interaction with the other members of the course. The work we have to produce as a group or by are selfs is the same we have to show for the brief.
- 2D Character Sprites or 3D Character modeling and texture.

- 2DVehicle Sprites or 3D Vehicle modeling and textures.

The Group !
When we first got given this project we had to choose weather to do it as a group or on our own after thinking for a bit i choose to group up because in the industry they work in teams and i find i work better in a team because i never want to be the person how drags the team down so it makes me work harder.
